On March 8, 2013 the film ‘Emperor’ will hit U.S. Theaters. It appears to be a fascinating look into the time that General Douglas MacArthur, Supreme Commander Of The Allied and Occupation Forces in the South Pacific basically ran the nation of Japan just after the end of World War Two. The story centers around a controversial topic that many still argue about today: Whether or not Emperor Hirohito should have been tried as a War Criminal. However, as fascinating as this story surrounding the always intriguing life of the famous U.S. Five Star General is, it does not even begin to compare to another story which involves him that has never really been told.
During World War II many U.S. Military and Allied Pilots in Europe and the South Pacific saw odd flying objects which they sometimes called ‘devices’ and assumed were some sort of German secret weapons or surveillance aircraft. The U.S. pilots who saw these strange objects in the South Pacific nicknamed them ‘Foo Fighters’ and believed they were given to the Japanese by the Germans for use against the Allied Forces. Able to follow Allied Aircraft, disappear and move at what seemed like impossible speeds and angles for the day, General MacArthur eventually got wind of the reports and ordered one of his own.
Allied Pilots who saw them were thoroughly debriefed about ‘Foo Fighter’ sightings and encounters from 1943 onward. The information gathered during those debriefing sessions were funneled to General MacArthur’s secret report which was not completed until two years after World War II ended. Based on information that I have gathered from people who served on his staff and the statements of pilots that served with my father in the Army Air Force during the war in the South Pacific, I can draw several fascinating conclusions:
1. General MacArthur believed that these objects were not built or piloted by the Germans or Japanese because records of the Axis Forces that were examined after World War II ended indicated that enemy pilots were seeing the same type of things and believed the strange aircraft to be built and operated by the Allied Forces (which they were not).
2. MacArthur’s report became a matter of great secrecy once he and the Joint Chiefs Of Staff concluded that the objects reported by seasoned and well trained pilots continued to be seen and reported by trained observers and credible witnesses long after the war ended. As a result, the report was classified and even today its existence still remains a U.S. Government secret.
3. General MacArthur came to the conclusion that the objects being reported were highly advanced flying machines piloted by intelligent beings from other worlds. On May 12, 1962, Douglas MacArthur gave his famous ‘farewell speech’ at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. During that presentation which was also known as the ‘Duty, Honor, Country’ speech, he spoke of “ultimate conflict between a united human race and the sinister forces of some other planetary galaxy.”
Here is the text of that portion of the speech in its entirety:
“We deal now, not with things of this world alone, but with the illimitable distances and as yet unfathomed mysteries of the universe. We are reaching out for a new and boundless frontier. We speak in strange terms of harnessing the cosmic energy, of making winds and tides work for us, of creating unheard of synthetic materials to supplement or even replace our old standard basics; to purify sea water for our drink; of mining ocean floors for new fields of wealth and food; of disease preventatives to expand life into the hundred of years; of controlling the weather for a more equitable distribution of heat and cold, of rain and shine; of spaceships to the moon; of the primary target in war, no longer limited to the armed forces of an enemy, but instead to include his civil populations; of ultimate conflict between a united human race and the sinister forces of some other planetary galaxy; of such dreams and fantasies as to make life the most exciting of all times.”
General Douglas MacArthur took the secret of what he knew about what the Air Force later called ‘Unidentified Flying Objects’ to the grave with him as did many other former members of the U.S. Military. If we are to believe the conclusions of Project Blue Book, which was the official U.S. Government investigation into the U.F.O. phenomenon that ended in 1969, we would have to accept that 95% of all sightings are explainable, 5% remain unexplained and these objects represent no threat to national security.
Personally, I prefer to believe General MacArthur’s conclusions and the statements of many other former members of the military from around the world. A number of NATO officers have expressed their belief that UFOs are intelligently controlled objects of unknown origin and in the mid-1990s the now deceased U.S. Colonel Philip Corso (1915-1998) admitted that he had access to information that allowed him to conclude that the U.S. Air Force had crashed alien hardware and dead (or living) beings from others worlds in its possession.
Corso was dying and felt he had nothing to lose by admitting the truth about a secret he had kept for so many years. He wrote a book entitled 'The Day After Roswell’ (available below) and spoke about what he knew on various radio and television shows before his death. To date he has been the highest ranking retired U.S. Miliary Officer to openly admit that the U.S. Government has been keeping information they have about UFOs and Extra-terrestrials from the public. Some governments have been a bit more forthcoming about what they believe about these matters, though equally as secretive as far as what evidence they possess to prove their points.
Please note that in 1989 the Russian Government stated through Tass (their official news agency at the time) that they believed Aliens from other worlds exist and that some UFOs are objects of extra-terrestrial origin visiting our planet for unknown reasons. That statement was made after a series of sightings and encounters by members of the Russian Military and civilians. The British and French Governments have recently released huge volumes of reports they collected over a number of years about UFOs, some of which indicate that there is no earthly explanation for some of the cases in question.
The fact is that there is a huge body of evidence to support the idea that UFOs are intelligently controlled objects being piloted by intelligent beings from somewhere other than present day Earth.
